The 'Adapt' series of digitally modified photographs was inspired by my attempt to cope with the new situation of moving house. Moving from a cramped apartment block to a place close to the forest was a positive change in my life, but initially, I found it difficult to feel at home in these circumstances. As usual, I took many pictures during my walks in the neighbourhood. While looking at them on the computer, I found a way to make these places more "mine". 
I digitally combined them with photos of my oil paintings. This gave my surroundings a fairy-tale effect, which made me feel more comfortable.
